On Saturday, 17th August 2024, the Pilgrim 101© series kicked off with a lecture by Beth Lambright, former Governor of The Mayflower Society of Oregon and Co-creator of Pilgrim 101©. Beth delved into the intricacies of historical evidence, providing an in-depth analysis of what constitutes a primary source. In a compelling segment, she examined William Bradford's "Of Plimoth Plantation", shedding light on his motivations and objectives in documenting the Pilgrim' journey.
